Based on the recommendations of the Standing Commission on Vaccination (STIKO) at the Robert Koch Institute, the G-BA determines the details of the protective vaccinations covered by health insurance funds. In addition to this entitlement, which exists for all insured persons, the health insurance funds can cover further vaccinations for their insured persons, in particular vaccinations for private trips abroad.
